Why work with a hiring agency?

Partnering with a hiring agency is a smart way to increase your chances of landing the job you want. Agencies serve as intermediaries, connecting candidates to employers’ hiring needs. Many employers prefer to advertise open positions through agencies to save time and streamline the recruitment process, freeing them from the complexities of searching for and selecting the right candidates.

Recruitment consultants at Alternative Recruitment carefully review applications and CVs to assess how well a candidate’s experience aligns with the job requirements. Shortlisted candidates are then invited for an interview with the consultant. Based on the interview and the candidate’s skills and motivation, they may be recommended or not recommended to the client. Sometimes, additional assessments, like a psychological evaluation or skills test, may be required based on the client’s specific needs. After this, the client takes over, conducting further interviews and job negotiations. If the candidate accepts the job offer and starts, the agency informs other candidates of the decision. CVs are stored in the agency’s database for the duration of the recruitment process, and for up to five years if consent is given.

According to the Labor Law (Art. 44) and EU directives, the agency does not charge any commission from agency workers.

Alternative Recruitment does not cover transportation costs for attending interviews with the agency or potential employers. In some cases, employers may cover travel expenses if candidates need to travel for final-round interviews, but typically, travel costs are not covered for initial interviews.
